Monday 20th November

Key Stage 2 X-Country

This gruelling event took part on a dull Monday afternoon. Children from across the locality turned up to run their socks off, as they competed in a X-Country race. The course was a full lap of the TLA grounds, which must have been around 1.25km to 1 mile. The children set off in different heats depending on their gender and their age. The determination that we saw in the faces of our youngsters was admirable. By the time the children crossed the finish line, we had some very tired and worn out individuals. A big thank you to Miss Fell, Mr Jones and the TLA Sports Leaders, who ran

and marked the course out for us. Check out the results below.

A big well done to all the runners who went on to represent the locality and the Southern Area finals.

Great news - Ella Thornburg from Arundel, she came 2nd out of 100 girl runners. This is great news!. Her and Grace from Lyminster will continue through to the next round. This is fantastic and we are all very proud of them.
