Year 5/6 Gymnastics

8 Teams participated in this year’s Y5/6 gymnastics competition. The event comprises of both a floor routine and a vault. Gymnasts from across the partnership have been practising for the event and should all be congratulated on making significant progress in their skills. The event to on a different format and gymnasts had a chance to practise parts of their routine prior to being judged at the floor and vault stations. This is a School Games event and the top three schools will now proceed to the partnership finals on 15th November. Fingers crossed that LASP will come up trumps and we will have our first representative for the SCHOOL GAMES in July 18.

Thanks as ever go to sports leaders from TLA who helped at the event and to Mrs Hall [Cornfield School], Ms Miles & Mrs Gillies [X PE Teachers at The Towers School] and of course to the PE Coordinators and coaches who helped prepare the gymnasts.
