SWB Boccia Competition

KS2 BOCCIA – RESULTS FOR LITTLEHAMPTON – ANGMERING AREA

18 teams participated in the annual SWB Boccia event for players from schools from the Littlehampton and Angmering localities.

Teams played in two round robin competitions and after at least 7 matches the final positions were as follows:

1st Lyminster ‘A’

3rd White Meadows ‘A’

5th Rustington

6th Lyminster ‘B’

7th Georgian Gardens ‘B’

8th = Cornfield

9th St marys ‘B’

10th River Beach ‘B’

12th River Beach ‘A’

13th St Catherines ‘A’

14th St Philips ‘B’

16TH Summerlea

17th White Meadows ‘B’

A player from each school was chosen to receive a medal for either being the player who made the most progress, the player who displayed the best sportsmanship or the player who demonstrated good captaincy and tactics. A very difficult task for staff choosing! The photo of the medal winners is above.

Sports Leaders from Angmering were as ever ‘top draw’. Many thanks to them for being so fab and willing to volunteer their time to help at the event. Thank you also to Mr Richards who has trained them and to Mr Jenner who supported them at the event.
