Year 5/6 Football Tournament

On Wednesday 6th December children from across the locality met at TLA to take part in our Year 5/6 football tournament. It was a cold and slightly windy evening but this did not stop 9 teams submitting their entry to this events. With parents wrapped up, the children took part in some of the best football we have seen this year. The level of football over the evening just got better and better and we had some extremely close games. The children seemed to really enjoy themselves and the smiles on their faces showed what fun they had had. 

A huge thanks must go out to all of the children who took part and the Sports Coordinators who got the teams ready, as well as Mr Jones from TLA and his Sports Leaders , who officiated the event. 

Final Standings were:

1st = Rustington

2nd = River Beach

3rd = White Meadows joint with Arundel

5th = Summerlea joint with River Beach

7th = Lyminster

8th = St Catherine's

9th = St Mary's
